Clito is both an educational platform and a shop, working together to put the clitoris back at the center of the conversation.
Our mission is simple (and joyful): to draw attention to the clitoris.
The clitoris is the main source of sexual pleasure for around half of the world’s population—yet even today, it’s still misunderstood, overlooked, or barely talked about. By showing the image of a clitoris, we bring light and care to a part of our bodies that has been ignored for far too long. It’s often missing from anatomy books, skipped in sex education, and brushed aside in medical research. Making the clitoris visible is a small but meaningful step toward gender equality, body awareness, and pleasure without shame.
The lack of accurate information about clitoral anatomy has real and serious consequences. It ranges from surgeons “accidentally” cutting vital nerves during cosmetic or intersex genital surgeries, to people struggling to orgasm or experience pleasure due to a lack of language, understanding, and communication around the clitoris.
This blog is the educational heart of Clito: a space for in‑depth articles, resources, and stories that center clitoral anatomy, pleasure, and bodily autonomy. Alongside this platform, the Clito shop offers clitoris-shaped jewelry and anatomical models that turn learning into something tangible and wearable, supporting the same mission in everyday life.
Clito is about information, visibility, and normalization.

Clito was created in 2016 by Caroline Barrueco, a Brazilian technologist and futurist living in Berlin, Germany.
Combining a background in technology, design, and sex education, Caroline uses digital tools, 3D printing, and storytelling to make clitoral anatomy and pleasure more accessible, visible, and shame‑free for everyone. Her work sits at the intersection of art, activism, and education, building bridges between online content, workshops, and tangible objects that help people understand and reclaim their bodies.
